Como International Dance Workshop was founded with the aim of enhancing the dance in the Lombardy region with particular attention to classical, contemporary and modern dance, which historically are a point of excellence of Lombardy and Italy in the world. The purpose is to create through dance a moment of confrontation and exchange suitable for all ages, and to put at the service of young and old dancers the experience of a staff of teachers of the Italian and international dance scene.
Thanks to our partnership with international realities, such as training centers and competitions, particular attention is given to scholarships that can be awarded giving the opportunity to study and perform in Italy and abroad.

We chose Como and its beautiful lake because it represents the perfect combination of history and modernity, which also perfectly reflects our concept of dance.
Como has a long tradition in the production of silk, which has its origins in the fifteenth century, introduced into Europe from the Far East, and this brings us back to the exchange between international cultures and to our spirit of openness and curiosity about all that we do not know.
Alessandro Volta, the inventor of the battery, was born in Como and in the centenary of his death in 1927, the city dedicated an imposing monument to him: the Tempio Voltiano. CIDW has chosen this monument as inspiration for its logo and to represent the link with Como.

More than 300 square meters dedicated to: dance, music and entertainment, in the heart of the beautiful city of Como.
The headquarter is equipped with a floor specially patented for the practice of dance, spacious and bright rooms, equipped with mirrors and bars, also great attention was given to those that are all the rules anticovid.
